Well, I may or may not have dropped the ball on the New York preparation posts, but at least I’m sticking around for the recap of the actual trip!

There are absolutely no words for how incredible a time I had in New York. Honestly, I’m at a loss on how to describe it. In the weeks before I departed, I was petrified by the prospect of flying alone into a gigantic city I hadn’t visited since I was 10 years old, especially when its inhabitants are stereotyped as being, well, not the nicest bunch of folks in the world. Instead I felt like I was right at home for the entire trip, and every single person I came across was beyond friendly. Pleasant surprises all around! My words can’t do the trip much justice, but some of these pictures might give a little insight into the trip better than I ever could:

Fabulous photos. I could almost be convinced to visit. Mostly for the tub and the library.
