My mother has a saying: clean house, clean mind. Feeling fairly desperate for a clean and clear mind, I set to work this past weekend. I’ve been nothing short of a flurried storm of activity, performing every household chore that normally strikes me as gag-worthy: vacuuming, scrubbing, throwing away dusty odds and ends. (Anyone who knows me is aware that I’m dangerously close to being a packrat, so I try to limit myself to the following maxim: if I don’t think I’ll have any use for it in 5 years, into the waste bin it goes.) Now that my home is edging closer and closer to cleanliness, I find myself lusting after some gorgeous floral arrangements to perk it up and give it the extra oomph it so desperately calls for. In past years I’ve never felt particularly drawn to flowers, but I think it’s now safe to say that my career as a wedding blogger (holla Ruffled) has turned me into a full-blown lover of all things -flora-. While I contemplate what flowers to throw together, here are some far superior arrangements from some of my favorite floral pros in the business:
